This is a wonderful capture of a beautiful area. I like the positioning of your people among the rocks, drawing the viewer to the top of the falls. My one suggestion would be your sky edit; the clear blue sky is a bit overpowering, and it seems to contradict the "monsoon" conditions of the rest of the image. Either crop it out or replace it with storm clouds.

Your selection of this spot on the lake and your careful editing to capture the mood and the beauty that you saw there have created a beautiful image. It encourages the viewer to pause and rest awhile at this place.

This is a powerful image of the raw and stunning terrain that is much of Alaska. You have captured it beautifully. I have a bit of trouble with the elk in the lower left, as my eye is drawn to it but it almost appears as an afterthought.

Right place at the right time! You have captured the beautiful colors of this place at their best. A half hour later would turn the softness of the light to a harsh and jarring scene. The place is aptly named.
Congrats on your photo selected for this month's Gallery. Another great image.

At first glance I thought I was looking at a leaf: the tree in the background has the color, shape, and "veins" of an oak leaf. It is a beautiful image, particularly the lighting which clearly defines the place - the mouth of a cave - and the subject, the tree, which is tack sharp. No suggestions for improvement.
