Brian: This must have been a difficult shot to make, but you nailed it!! It's a wall-hanger. Photographing harbors often results in a cluttered scene, but by including the dramatic sky and the reflections in the water you have created an elegant work.

Sanat: Once again you have captured a bit of history and made it beautiful. I might suggest cropping a bit from the bottom to get rid of the structure there and clone out the 3rd structure from the background, since it adds nothing to the image.

Trey: This was truly a rare find from a rapidly-disappearing era, and it deserved to be remembered in B&W. Your perspective using the line of weeds and the fence to guide the viewer into the subject, and the overall feeling is COLD! Beautifully done.

Quang: You have certainly brought out the best of the underexposed original. (I have learned that it's better to underexpose than to overexpose.) Adding the birds balances the scene with the ship and the oil rig; don't move them, just turn them around so they are flying into the scene. A wonderful seascape.

Charles: This is a beautiful photo; very well balanced and it tells a story well. My eye was drawn in to the left, then to the subject then follows the surf line to the right side. Your sky is interesting: since it's a replacement I don't know the time of day but I assume it's evening. Any attempt to further edit or crop this image would detract from its impact.
