Place, planning and patience are evident in this wonderful image. All of the elements of the scene seem to be in balance with one another; no wonder it's a popular spot for photographers. The layer of fog below the mountain and the soft emergence of dawn tell me you were at the right place at the right time. |

Quang: The effort you took to get this image must have been quite a challenge. The result was worth the effort. The "bonsai" tree appears to be growing out of the rock and draws the eye immediately, offsetting the enormity of its surroundings. I'm sure you have tried a few cropped versions but like it the way it is, as it gives the viewer a sense of place. I would clone out the branches in upper right corner . |

Trey: It was worth getting up early to capture the morning fog to enhance what was already a beautiful scene. Your image is beautifully balanced and each element feels like it's in the right place. You have brought out the beautiful late-autumn colors which are often lost in a foggy scene. Your image reminds me of one of my favorite spots: an apple orchard on a hillside not far from my home where I have encountered fog a few times. You have inspired me to go back there!! |

Charles: You have captured an image that portrays the immense power, the size and the timeless beauty of cascading water that has drawn humans to them for ages. Your man in the red coat so near to the falls gives the viewer a feeling of awe, but also of fear. I wouldn't suggest you change a thing. Congrats on a fine work. |
