It's a beautiful photo of a beautiful structure. The crowd adds a sense of festival and adds warmth and color to the scene. I agree that the man in the left foreground needs to go so that the little girl becomes the "leading lady".

Rich, this must have been a labor of love: difficult to shoot and difficult to process. As others have noted, the egret is overpowered by its surroundings. Cropping from bottom and sides might help.

Trey, this photo should be on the cover of a textbook on the rule of thirds. The stones of the colors and the morning light enhance the balance of your elements. I would want to spend the day there. |

Quang Phan, this must have been a difficult picture to make, given the low light and dark sky, but you captured it beautifully, making it warm and inviting. I would have cropped a bit of the right side.

Charles, your colors, composition and balance are extraordinary. The sky and the reflection add to the overall experience. I remember Prague for its beauty, but never captured as well as you have here. |

Thank you for your comments. I was a beginning photographer when I took this shot. The editing is more recent and I can see that I over-did the saturation and contrast. |

Thank you Charles. You are right; it is a bit blurred. Given the sea conditions on a small boat, motion blur had to happen.
