Hi Lisa. How fascinating this is. I love the colour tones in it (blue is my favourite colour). I've looked and looked at is but can't help thinking it needs something else. Perhaps add the wall and stones along the bottom and up the righthand side aways? Maybe add a star or two? Just throwing ideas around. 😀 |

Hi Henry. Wow what a tulip. Tulips are one of my favourite flowers and this one is a spectacular colour. The only thing I might have done a little differently, would be to extend the picture width a small amount on the left, to give more distance from the edge of the flower and the edge of the picture. I would also raise the top edge of the picture enough to accommodate past the tips of the leaves, rather than cutting them off. I would be proud of this picture if I had made it. Well done. |

I have since made some adjustments.
I refined the centre of the picture more cleanly and zig-zagged the join section under the star and reduced the size of the star a little. |

This is lovely, Nadia.
A fun thought popped out while I was looking at it (so please excuse my silly humour if it's a bit over-the-top). How about if the seagull was perching on her upturned ballet slipper and another bird was perching on her outstretched hand? Also, I wondered if some wafty smoke might swathe around her to soften her look and drift her more into the eery background?
I like your imagination, here.

This is most imaginative, Tom. I like it.
I wondered if there was a way to make the centre section, with the dinghy/man silhouette, a little wider so the silhouette stands out more? That, in turn would push the bridge areas out and reduce the murky part under the bridge. You have a wonderful idea here - well done. |

This is most interesting, Brad. I very much like what you've done.
My own preference (bearing in mind that it's not me doing it and I have different likes to you) would be to not show so much of the muddy section at the bottom of the picture - rather, cutting it off about half way through the coloured tree reflection, thus creating a 'teaser' as to what more might lie below. |

Following on from Pete's comment I have removed the trees, lower front of the picture. |

Thanks Pete.
Blown out skies seem to be something you have to live with, with the Mavik Mini 1. Sometimes I replace the sky altogether. I've just ordered myself a Mavik Mini 3 Pro, which has way more ways of controlling the picture and you can get ND filters for it. Thanks so much for your comments. |

Hi Don. What a fascinating picture. Is that Route 66? I loved that movie in my teen days. I'm wondering if the bright roof, lower right, might be dimmed down a little? For me, it distracts a little, from the lovely logo on the road. Well done. |

I have followed the suggestions and worked on my picture. Maybe a bit over the top but, somehow, I like it. Than ks for the comments. Really appreciated. |

Hi Drema. What a nice peaceful picture this is. I like how you've pulled up the highlights around the gazebo (in our country we might call it a band rotunda, depending on its size). I would quite like to see the roof and highlights/shadows of the gazebo to be even a little more brighter, yet not too bright. Nice one. |

Hi Lou. Personally I prefer the original shot, with its wide scope and the red vehicle over to the left. I think that seeing the fields and sky in the distance gives the scene greater perspective. I do feel the brightness in the centre with the dust, could be toned down a little, otherwise it's fine. I really enjoyed looking at this picture. It looks a lot of fun. Nice! |

Hi Pete. I love your photo. I love the sky and it's colour and detail and I love the colours in the ground. I think you've got a perfect proportion of ground to sky and it leaves me with the impression that I'm flying over the ground. I think your processing from the original is spot on. Well done I say. |

Oh wow, I'm impressed that you were able to put your drone up there. I've been to Chenonceau and absolutely loved it. I agree to remove the green highlight from the water and wonder about slightly darkening the bright green trees, each side lower picture. I also agree to put back a bit of the haze at the top and add a sun star as Drema suggested. It's such a wonderful shot. |

Hi Drena. Thanks for your comments, which I will look at and work on. I left the half catamaran in the picture because I wasn't confident I could remove it cleanly. Otherwise I would have. I have trouble with blown out skies and often completely replace the sky altogether. Mine is a DJI Mavik Mini. |
