Allen-You did a good job overall but I would like to see a few bright spots to be toned down right on top of the lady's arm which attracts your attention immediately. It will make the difference after toning down those spots. Color balance and skin tone are well done.

John Clare-Welcome to Group-9. I do not know about the story of the tree behind but I like the shape of the tree with blue sky behind which is pretty sharp and the sheep in the foreground add the beauty overall.

David- What a lucky chance of a color combination of magenta & green! I do agree that a few extra white spots be removed to reduce distraction. Sometimes strong shadows do make it a more interesting shot like this.

Priscilla-You always find an interesting subject such as this!
I like both versions but prefer to see them in black & white with hi-contrast. You may try for yourself and see what you get to gain experience.

Debbie-I do like your bird with calm blue water. It is not bad at all with a handheld camera. However, the focus on the bird in question is much better the way Stuart did it but the blue watercolor I still like yours.

John-You treated the image very well. However, top area of the image needs to be cropped a little bit for tight composition and also I do agree with suggestion of Debbie to clean out the trees from the front area to avoid distraction.

Debbie-Here is what you asked me. I used Nikon AF Micro Nikkor 60mm on my D70S camera. I set my camera on close-up mode.
