9 Sep 20 Comment John-You have blurred the background nicely using gaussian tool. I noticed last bottom Sunflower in not sharp as other two while the same flower in original image is sharp. I wonder what caused this unsharpness while other two flowers are dead sharp! I also noticed some black spots are still around on each flower if you see them minutely.I would also like to fill the black on top left with green background on right bottom.

9 Sep 20 Comment Pricilla-First of all, at this angle to cut down Sun glare and other reflection around I would use circular polarizer filter and rotate it until it cuts most of the reflections and then start shooting. Best would be on tripod. In the foreground, you have done very well with grass heads with good details but with polarizer filter results would have been eye catching and background much richer. However, this was not an easy shot and I think polarizing is the best tool for this kind of situation. Gook luck Pricilla and try with polarizing circular filter.

9 Sep 20 Comment David-What a lucky shot you got of your daughter fighting with forceful waves of hurricane. This is a prize winning action shot if entered in an Int'l exhibition and I was one of the judge to give highest score. You could improve this image further to tone down a bit to stand out flush of waves with more details. Well done David!!

9 Sep 20 Comment Allen- You did improve the your image in comparing with original photo. Your mill stands out much better with saturated color. To me is dry tree a distraction and a small bush of a tree right in the middle of the mill. These can be removed carefully from the scene to make a better image.

9 Sep 20 Comment Debbie: You treated this image very well than the last month. Crisp sharp and good detail of the flower with no distraction around. Well done Debbie. Are you taking a part in Int'l exhibitions?

9 Sep 20 Comment Jesse- You did well but I do agree with Allen comments in regards to over sharpening and heavy contrast overall.Polarizer always helps in this kind of situation in reducing the high lights and reflections around. I wish you could have taken better picture if you had used your camera on a tripod with slow shutter speed using polarizer filter resulting in a smooth flow of cristle fall.I wish I was with you to help you out with beautiful image.

9 Sep 20 Reply I did say in my comments that I color image too but I was curious to see what result I get in mono conversion, and I did like very much. Most of my buddies talking about the long stem. I do agree but when you enlarge the image than the original, naturally everything is enlarged proportionally. You can compair with the color image you will see the difference. To make you happy, I have reduced the size of the stem in PS. As far lot of noise is concerned there is a always a chance of noise with low resolution images. I reduced the noise the best I could with my computer. I have no other gagets at all. Sep 25th
