David- I may not have a chance to go up there to take a picture of Northen Lights but I am curious to know what was your time exposure? I am sure your camera was on tripod and you took many shots with different exposure time. About the sharpness of mountains and blurriness of the lights I have no questions. I like your shot any way.

Deddie-I agree your texture effect has worked very well on color and water but I do think that you lost a little bit sharpness on birds if you minutely look at them. AS they say you can't have every thing perfect always. Overall, you did very well and your white border adds up the beauty.

Pricilla: You Picked up a good spot of fountain with beautiful dark clouds but white hot spot cloud right in the middle creates distraction in beauty of fountain.This hot spot needs to be toned down very carefully. If I were you, I would wait for the cloud to move away from distracting point and then start my shooting. I would definitely use slow shutter speed to have smooth flow of water which gives you pleasing effect. It also needs a little bit correction of horizon line and I agree with Jesse's comments on this.

Allen-Good catch on time and it's perfect shot except I feel you have an extra space on right side which needs to be cropped and crop it to make a square image.If it looks better do it.

John-you brought the image so well with full tonal range and
with good texture details but I do agree with other members comments for cropping from the top a little bit and leaving more room in the foreground.I feel the foreground is more chopped off that it needs. Otherwise quality of the image is commendable!
