I was thinking about Audrey's comments concerning the rule of thirds and looking back at the crops thought it probably ISN'T the time to disregard it. So...I went back into the original and moved the bee closer to the right third and worked some on the background. I didn't do anything with the pink flowers that were a problem for Audrey...but...here you go. What do you think? I am grateful for all the engagement. |

Another stellar portrait. I would not change a thing.Well played with the filter in order to use the wider aperture. That was a thoughtful response to a lighting challenge. |

I love this photograph. I am undecided about whether to get rid of the cables, but the textures in the silo, roof, red side and weathered side of the barn are exceptional. The weeds in the foreground interest me as well. |

Great diagonal composition, in my opinion. I am intrigued by the difference in the water above the branch and below it. And the turtle itself is beautiful. |

Lovely photograph with good lighting. I especially like the red, the pink and the green combination. |

In my opinion, these are two very different photographs (though I know it is the same capture). I like them both. In the original I love the edges of the leaves...that lighter color which provides an outline. The purple is there, as a hint of color. I think it is interesting and has a subtle beauty. In the edited version, I am drawn to the textures and patterns on the leaves...and yes...absolutely I see the peacock! At the end of the day, I am not sure which I prefer. |

This photo has a calm feel to me and is beautiful. I know it indicates a bad storm on its way, but this is the breath, the peaceful moment before that storm. Great capture. |
