Perfect angle for this photo. I love the detail in the underside of the fungi. I also like the spider web being in focus. f6.3 was the right choice, in my opinion. Well done. It looks dramatically monumental! |

Great image. I love the composition and the detail on the legs, head and forward wings. Nice way to remember summer. I wonder...is it possible to shoot in -6 F...I am betting there are some winter pictures that could be amazing. I am honestly not sure of what the temperature parameters are for my camera. |

I live in Richmond so I know what you are talking about with the weather. Smart choice to stop. And this is a beautiful, crisp image that captures the day after the storm. The only thing that I question is in the lower right, just to the left of the bush, there are those parallel lines and I can't figure out what that is and I keep getting stuck there...so maybe take them out? |

Very nice sunset! I like the composition, but having to do the crop also cost in terms of clarity of the image. It looks like some noise slipped in around the leaves and branches. Not sure if that can be corrected. |

I see the attraction and I wonder what it would look like in black and white. A professional photographer friend of mine once looked at one of my photos and said, "Do you think the color adds anything? Try it in black and white." I did and she was right...it was a better photo that way. Worth trying here too, I think. |
