25 Nov 25 Comment I am away from my files so I can't share the original. Sorry! It was essentially already monochrome. Nov 27th
25 Nov 25 Reply Thank you for the insights. If I get back there I will try that angle. Nov 19th
25 Nov 25 Comment Great capture to begin with. I especially like the clarity on the bird itself...including those tufts of feathers on its head. And I love your edits. You have transformed the image into something special. Nov 12th
25 Nov 25 Comment Beautiful image. Can you tell me more about that particular lens? 24 to 105 is an amazing range. Is this your "go to" lens? Nov 9th
25 Nov 25 Reply Next time I am there I will let them know about the board...and I'll tell them a Brit caught it. I welcome advice on how to distress the edges. Nov 8th
25 Nov 25 Comment New England worthy. Love the colors and especially the moss on the tree trunk to the right. It is a visual clue to the feeling of moisture in the air. Part of what I like about the composition is the rule of thirds...see attached. Nov 8th
25 Nov 25 Comment I love this photo and your edits are spot on. You turned a good photo into a great one by highlighting the diagonal in my opinion. Nov 3rd
25 Nov 25 Comment I love the composition and the reflection in this photo. Well done. Nov 1st
25 Nov 25 Comment Excellent shot! I definitely prefer the black and white version. The only thing I'd change is I'd love to see more of the bird's claws. I can't quite make out what is in the left talon. However, I suspect that is a function of how hard it is to get the shot in the first place. BTW. I love the "Bird and Fish Looking in the Same Direction" too. The composition of that one is spot on, with the diagonal. Nov 1st
