I am away from my files so I can't share the original. Sorry! It was essentially already monochrome. |

Thank you for the insights. If I get back there I will try that angle. |

Great capture to begin with. I especially like the clarity on the bird itself...including those tufts of feathers on its head. And I love your edits. You have transformed the image into something special. |

Beautiful image. Can you tell me more about that particular lens? 24 to 105 is an amazing range. Is this your "go to" lens? |

Next time I am there I will let them know about the board...and I'll tell them a Brit caught it. I welcome advice on how to distress the edges. |

New England worthy. Love the colors and especially the moss on the tree trunk to the right. It is a visual clue to the feeling of moisture in the air. Part of what I like about the composition is the rule of thirds...see attached. |

I love this photo and your edits are spot on. You turned a good photo into a great one by highlighting the diagonal in my opinion. |

Excellent shot! I definitely prefer the black and white version. The only thing I'd change is I'd love to see more of the bird's claws. I can't quite make out what is in the left talon. However, I suspect that is a function of how hard it is to get the shot in the first place. BTW. I love the "Bird and Fish Looking in the Same Direction" too. The composition of that one is spot on, with the diagonal. |
