I like the changes you have made to the original. I wonder if you could blur the background? Not sure about that but I am curious. Great image.

Quite a capture! I am trying to look at it more closely and can't seem to enlarge it. When I click on it I just get a small version. What am I doing wrong? |

I love the bird on the bottom! And...the way the bird on top is looking at it. |

I love this shot. In particular, I like the detail and clairty of the bird itself. I looked for a long time at those feathers and the patterns. Very engaging. I like the background blur and am surprised you got that with f6.3. The gray under the branch drew away my attention a bit until I figured out what it was. In the eastern US robins have red breasts not faces but they were close enough so that the name given by the English stuck. |

Thank you Brian. It is difficult to discern the size. I considered including more in the shot to define that a bit, but decided not to...keep it ambiguous. BTW it is huge. And right on the interstate. I had to time it just right to not get lorries in the frame. I had determined the time of day to take the shot. I was shooting north east more or less and waited until fairly late in the day so the sun was at my back. At any rate, I hope you'll give a scrap yard a go. I'd love to see the results. |
