Brian, Audrey, Harvey, Eric and Ruth...Thank you very much for your thoughts. I am grateful for the way everyone has engaged the image and stated what you see or would like to see. It is all very helpful to me. I think when all is said and done, I like the crop. I have brightened that window, so everyone, let me know what you think.

I will see what I can do with the large window on the right. It might be possible to bring that out in an effective way. |

I think I had the crop in mind when I was taking the photo so I did not capture much of the surrounding area. And, as I often do, I did not hold the iphone level. Here's the original. If I had backed up some more so that I got all three parapets (including the one on the left) and held the camera level so that the white down spout was fully visible, (which might be a nice way to frame that side of the photo) I think I could do what you are asking. I'd have to look at the time stamp and go back at that time of day and try again. |

Great shot. I love the way the reflections and the actual trees etc talk to each other. |

Great job! I like the shapes and movement, the black background and the way you put it together. I wonder what it would look like if all four photos were squares rather than rectangles, with the final product also being a square. I don't know why exactly, but I think it might be satisfying. |

Great to see someone else using a Sony! This sounds like an amazing place to photograph. I like the composition and the depth of field you got with f8.0. |

Happy healthy Christmas to you as well. What I like a lot about this shot is the diagonal line that is created by the three people. It draws the eye along. |

Beautiful shot and I like the composition and the changes you made. A great example where the rule of thirds really works. |
