I think taking the road out of it helps. Plus, some of those telephone poles really are crooked. I like what you did with the left side. I am not familiar with the skew tool and I'll have to look for that. I use a tool in lightroom...Transform, which may be the same sort of thing. Are you familiar? Here's a new version with the road out and with some of the sky anomalies addressed. I did the masking after the BW conversion. Now...of course I am seeing some dust in the sky on the right! So I'll need to take that out.

I went back in and checked it against a grid, and the buildings line up. Maybe the road in front is throwing it off visually. |

I am bad about that...keeping the camera level. It does look like it is leaning right. Is that what you are talking about? There could also be some vertical tilt...I am not sure I corrected for that. |

Great work, and complicated to make it all come together. I love it. It is great to see a star along with the moon and the variation of the sky from blue down to the orangey red is great. How did you blend the images? I'd be interested in where and how you did that. That is something I am trying to learn more about. |

Lovely and I appreciate the crop you made. The changes you made with color etc add greatly without seeming artificial. The only thing I might experiment with is moving the crop around just so that the flower is a bit more off center. Not sure why I want to do this...curiosity mainly. |

Beautiful. I love the composition, the reflections and the detail in the concrete. I am glad you were able to finally stop and take this photo. Well worth the effort. |

Such a sweet image. I love the faces. I think you were correct it taking extraneous things out of the shot, but the white surrounding the image is a bit distracting. Is there a way to knock that back? |

I love the way the ray glows and stands out from the dark background. I also like the composition and the placement of the ray in the frame.
