taken with a lensbaby so angles and focus can be tricky.
that said, I will take on board when I am composing my next shots, whether an angle would work :) |

Hi Julia,
I will have to look this lily up. Haven't come across it in Melbourne.
I like the composition very much and every aspect of the flower is well focused.
It is a creative choice to float it or not. I tend to anchor my floral images.( The main thing for me is to lead the eye through the shot in some way.)
The colors of the lily are very bright but not intense. Might be interesting to get a shot with more texture and using the flower to radiate more intense colors.

The colors and the silhouette work beautifully. So well done:)
The others suggested cropping tighter. I agree with the other comments that cropping would make this a very impactful image.( I had a quick play)

Hi Richard,
A fascinating image. Does grab you attention. I do like it! Quite playful with the backdrop of light caught in the water showering down.
Couldn't work it out first, the plastic sheet gives a warped lens effect. (thinking of my lensbaby) The water functions as leading lines, but not to the watering cans but to the path below.

Hi Marilyn,
I really like this image. (I've been doing some equestrian photography and so hard to get such great focus with moving targets.)
I particularly like the facial expressions you have captured, gives real emotion to the image and dare I say,tells a story.
I also like the B&W image best as I feel the color clutters the image. Just my thoughts :)

Certainly a great image that tells a story.
I like the red barrier in the background,quite subtle,but it
does draws my eye through the image.
