64 May 25 Comment Nice mood created with the toning which brings out a strong wintery feeling. Positioning of the moon emphasizes the heart shape of the tree which stands out well against the hazy background. The lighter sky behind the tree adds dimension and contrast and looks natural graduating darker toward the top of the image. Personally, I would like to see a bit more detail in the moon. There is a tiny bit evident so if that could be enhanced I think that would be a good thing. May 18th
64 May 25 Comment I too like the angle of the building receding as it takes me from left to right and brings me back to the largest window which is a strong focal point. The vines make interesting framing of each window and aid the composition as they form a loop so the viewer cannot wander out of the image. That looping effect also brings me back to the largest window. It is a strong composition. Nice detail in the shadow. More contrast would'nt hurt. May 18th
64 May 25 Comment Well composed landscape with the strong leading line from the sweeping sandy foreground to the focal point nicely positioned. Everything is well detailed and there is lovely texture in the background and on the water. Tonal range and contrast well done. A peaceful image. I presume you used a tripod as the one thing that really impresses me is the separation of the individual trees in the background. With a bit of camera shake it is too easy for these to bleed into each other which is not the case here. I am a big fan of the tripod. The only improvement I can suggest is to remove, clone or crop out the little tiny thing protruding into the water about a third the way up on the right edge. May 18th
64 May 25 Comment The pavement comes up superbly with a wide range of tones, strong contrast and plenty of detail which are also prevalent in the whole image. I am amazed at the detail in the architecture. The building appears to be leaning back which is understandable from the ground view perspective but still the image as a whole has a lot of impact. 64 May 25 Comment I quite like the graduation from dark to light moving from outside in so you certainly have succeeded in drawing attention to the middle section. The image has really nice texture especially on the darker outer petals and I dont mind the lack of detail in the shadows as that works to frame the central section. I also like that it is not pin sharp as the softness is in keeping with the subject. May 18th
