Charissa, very inventive and clever. It is really unique. I do think the curvature of the pink vase top is the highlight. This is where my eye is drawn. |

Jim, it is a lovely and unique shot. The head-on approach makes it so. One little spot of brown to the left distracts me just a bit, but overall, stunning. |

Good evening, Lynne. I do like this shot very much. It has a bit of a mood to it. It may be a touch out of focus, but I feel that gives the photo a bit of mystic to it. Great colors. |

This is one of my favorite plants/flowers. You have captured it brilliantly, Dick. Lovely |

That was a very lucky shot, Janet. So happy that little hawk hung around for you to get the picture. I think it is very well done. |

Thank you, Robert. I appreciate your comments, they are definitely valid. However, I am not fond of the black and white idea. I would probably pass on that! |

Robert, I am not one to give much advice, as I need so much myself. I lived in Portland for seven years and always camped at the base of Mt. Adams during the summer. Such a special place. Therefore, my only suggestion is to crop from the right and put more focus on Adams. It does look like a painting, so sharp and distinctive. |

Haku, lovely picture, a bit dark for my taste but that does give it a definite mood. I love the reflection in the water. If you were looking for a moody picture, don't change a thing. |

Thank you, Bob. You are not the first to suggest cropping the clouds, I guess I should, as they seem to be distracting to others, but I am so drawn to them. Clouds are my thing. Maybe I should have advertised the pictures as clouds with some river! |

The northern California coast truly is a place of wonder. So unique. I do like the feeling of this picture, very restful. Some dehazing of the sky might help, but grayness/cloudiness adds to the overall mood. |

Thank you, Cheryl. I do see your points but mostly learned to be more descriptive in sending my pictures in! One of the things I really liked about this shot was that big sky with the enormous clouds and how they reflected in the river. When I did crop the sky, the reflection was somehow off, to me. So, I kept it as it was. Thank you for sharing. |

This photo is so sharp and stark, Bob. Another one that looks like a painting. I love the myriad of color changes in this shot. Very alluring. |

This is a lovely photo, Cheryl. Is this at Bandon, OR? That is an area so well known for rock formations. I have seen the sky/sun like this from my time in Oregon and it is memorable. Please do not take out the person/dog. Not only does it scale, but also a feeling of peace and tranquility. Lovely, do not change a thing. |

Wow, Dan, this is surreal. It looks like a painting. You really have captured something magical here and the colors are sublime. I am very impressed. |
