Thanks Jan, I will have a play with the position of the fruits to make the composition less predictable. |

You succeeded in giving the rose a painterly feel. I find the flower a bit tight in the frame and would like to see more canvas around the rose. Given you have gone for a square crop I feel the rose should be in the centre rather than slightly offset. |

Great image Rita. My only suggestion for improvement would be to tone down the highlights on the gentleman's hair, to help keep the attention on his face and the sax. |

Looks like you can have lots of fun with your Droste effect app. Unlike Denise I do not find the white stamen distracting, in fact I think that it helps emphasise the spiral. Although, like Denise, I am not a fan of the of the obvious edges in the outer part of the image. |

Mary, you have captured a lovely family moment here and have done a good job of simplifying the image by removing distractions and converting to mono. I think it would be a little more impactful if we could see the faces of both cheeky monkeys! |

There are some wonderful colours and flowing lines in the image. I like Denise's suggestion for a tighter crop and different orientation, this helps simplify the image and give it more impact.
