I like the colour toning you introduce to the background, it complements the orange petals very well. There are some interesting textures in the flower head. I didn't find the shape of the bent stem that appealing and so had a little play warping it a bit and adding a bit more space around the flower. |

Like Denise and Jan I much prefer the black and white version without the power lines, it just seems more atmospheric. The very top of the image is the brightest area, so it might be worth cropping a little off or darkening it down a touch. |

A lovely lamp well photographed. I agree with Denise that bringing out the detail in the wood lifts the image. You have opted for a very central composition, you might want to consider another shot with the lamp offset and perhaps an additional element on the table. |

An interesting scene and your use of the inverse vignette works well. I feel it would suit a more panoramic crop as the brown grass in the foreground and the featureless sky lack interest. |

Thanks Denise, I will try a version without the crop. |

Thanks Jan, I agree I can push the contrast a bit further to add more drama. |

A lovely still life image. I really like the colour tones, they certainly give an autumnal feel. There is a lot to explore but all the elements sit well together. For me I would remove the clock, it is beautiful but I don't think you need 2 tall items at the back. Removing the clock would give a triangular composition and allow the items on the right to stand out more from the background. |
