A playful image, well captured. I agree with Denise the image is all about the child and the back of the adult just dominates the image. So if you can I would remove the adult. |

The composition works very well with the bird balancing the lighthouse and filling some of the bland sky. For a more arty feel you could consider adding a light texture over the background. This might also give more of a feeling of depth in the image. |

I like the treatments you have applied to this image to give it a real painterly feel, it works very well. For me I would desaturate the bright turquoise patch on the left edge, as it just draws my eye away from the lantern. |

There is so much beauty to be found in decaying flowers and you chose a good specimen to photograph. I do like the colours in your background but like Denise I find it a little busy and I am not a fan of the plastic wrap filter on the flower. If I am looking to bring out the texture in petals a method I use is Dramatic black and white in Topaz Studio, apply the layer in Luminosity blend mode and reduce the opacity. In the attached I also brightened the flower with a curves layer before going into Topaz. |

This a beautiful floral image Denise, with a wonderful dreamy quality. My only suggestions for improvement would be to lighten the flower a touch and add a little more contrast to give a bit more definition to the petals. I just added a levels and curves adjustment layer in the attached. |
