Hi Denise, I think you made the right choice in focusing on the one group of mushrooms. I like the leaves at the base of the group but agree with Jan and Linda that more work is required on the rest of the background to remove distracting elements. |

Hi Linda, a lovely original capture of the mockingbird. For me I would not crop in quite so tight as I really like the curve of the branch in the original image. I think the catchlights you have added could be toned down as they look a little unnatural to me. |

Hi Jan, I really like the abstract feel you have given this image. I do find that my eye is drawn to the very bright area in the middle and there is nothing of real interest there. I wondered about maybe trying a different crop and keeping a bit of detail on one of the figures. |

Hi Mary, I really like the edits you have made to this image and the detail you have brought out in the jelly fish. I find it a very restful, minimalist image. For me the square crop gives it a more arty feel. |

Hi Jodi, you have captured some great detail on the bee. I think I would not have cropped in so tight. It is a shame that part of the bee's head is hidden by an out of focus petal and I think the tight crop makes this more obvious. |

Thanks Linda. I agree with you about the eye, I too would like to see more of it. I have been looking for eyes in other images but haven't found anything suitable yet. |
