I guess each person has different opinions as to what an image should look like. I don't do a lot of image creation in my photos through editing. It was more important to me to have the wings of the landing bird somewhat level since that is the main subject of the image. Thank you for your suggestion. |

Bob you really hit a home run with this. The colors are gorgeous and the clarity is outstanding. I like the placement, a little odd center. You really caught the center of the flowers with clarity and focus. Now my nit-picking, there is a tiny white spot of the pedal that might have been removed. I am really impressed with the over all image, great work! |

Abe I am a little jealous. This a part of the world that I have always wanted to visit. You really did a nice job with the colors. Too bad you had to take this looking up. It tends to bring the image in at the top. I agree with Bob's observation about the spiral sneaking out the top. For cosmetics you could clone the little bit of the spiral out and give some space at the top. Tack sharp, really great colors and clarity. In my opinion a really fine job! |

Eric, This is a nice image. Your title is right on the mark. I don't think I would move the little guy to the rear of the image. For me that removes it from being the emphasis of the image. For me your submitted image keeps the little guy the main subject. If I could offer any suggestions it would be to crop a little from the bottom of the image. Too bad the snow at the top is a little dirty. Don't know what you could do with that. Without being to picky I like your image and feel that you were right on! |

I really like your submitted image. It is impressive how you have captured the island and lighthouse in silhouette with the foreground in subtle light. I might have cropped a little of the top out maybe to the change of the blue. For me all of the sky behind takes my attention away from the main subject. It is interesting that if a view from a little different angle the rays of light seem to change. Great subject, great capture, just really nice overall! |
