If your are talking about the white area on the leaf if you look closely you will see that it is part of the leaf. I could have cloned that area out but in my opinion that would be like manufacturing the image. I try to use the image as taken limiting my corrections to what is in the photo. Thanks for the comment however. |

This is a nice image. I too like the catch light and the red chest they give some interest to the image. As always using the eye as the focal point of the image works well in this image. |

Nice image. I'm not sure how to critique this. The image looks like a very nice close up. The lighting is good and the placement of the flower is nice. I like the way the stem is placed sloping to the lower left hand corner. You seemed to have a soft warm tone to this image. |

Nice. You seemed to have used a "soft" focus. I don't see any really sharp area. You might have used the large water drop as the focal point or the yellow part of the flower. It seems that the water drop on the left, lower part turned out to be the sharpest part of the image. Or if the water drops are your main point you could try a sever crop leaving the large drop as the main emphasis? I'm not trying to tell you how to shoot your image, just offering some suggestions. Great idea however. |

This is a nice image. The only observation I could make is the little guy seems to be lost against the back ground. The second "only" observation is the bugs on the water lilies. For me they are a distraction. Nice job I don't know exactly how to solve the dragon fly issue. |
