Have to agree with Carol. The original shows real focus through out the entire photo. Usually a true macro will not have that much in focus. That said the flower is lovely and the center stamen has a ton of detail. The colors are really nice. I tried to imagen the stem if the little bud things had been blurred some. They draw my attention away from the flower a little. Thanks for a sharp, clear photo. |

John I also did not use the "submit" key for your image. I guess I spent too much time this morning processing photos I took in Yellowstone last week. I really like your little guy. The hair detail is great as well as the other detail. I wonder if a regular flash would have added some shadow detail. Not that the image is not good just me wondering! Nice job. Thanks. |

Well this is the second comment I am submitting for your submission this month. Didn't hit the "submit" key and lost my comments. For me the color variations work well together. The stamens etc. show a nice degree of sharpness and the overall image is very "dreamy". Nice macro image. |

Your image is very tranquil and puts me in a dreamy mood. The colors compliment each other nicely. The background almost looks as if it was painted in. I wondered to myself what the high ISO did to your image. Too much time on my hands this month. Nice job, Bill |

How Interesting! At first I thought the "eyes" were the series of black dots on top (bottom) of its head. Then I saw the true eyes at the front of its body. For me it has nice detail in the hairs on the front legs. Thanks for the additional photo as it really adds prospective as to size etc. There seems to be a lot of clutter but with the blur it is not too distracting. The little black dots on the top of the head still has me confused (not to hard to do I might add). |
