60 Oct 18 Comment Hello Bob. I don't know if I have made comments on your work yet (old age the memory is going). I had this all done for this month and did something wrong and lost the whole thing. Sorry, hope I can recall everything. I really like your bee. I am not very good with insects so I am a little jealous. For me the placement of the bee a little off center makes it appear it is moving into the shot. Your focus is spot on capturing the hairs on the body. The flower is vibrate and this is a great image in my opinion. Nice job! Oct 5th
60 Oct 18 Comment Wow, nice shot Will! I have always read that the eye should be the main focus and you are spot on here. There are two dark objects in the front of his (or hers) eyes that are nicely in focus as well as some hairs on the chest and legs. The closest wing is also in great focus. If this were my image I would not worry about the body etc. being soft, this is Macro photography and not everything can be in sharp focus. I enjoyed your submission, thanks. Oct 5th
60 Oct 18 Comment What a pretty flower (rose)! I wonder if you had moved a little more to your left if you could have blocked some of the errant pedals. I don't know much about "stacking" but that may be what caused the softness to your image. This is a nice image and I like the camera angle to the rose and feel the dark background really brings an emphasis to the flower. Nice job and another enjoyable image! Oct 5th
60 Oct 18 Comment This is a nice subject matter and one you don't see a lot. That being said I don't think this is one of your best submissions. There seems to be a lot of junk in front of you subject. I wonder if you could of cleared some of the distracting greenery away from the front without damaging it. The same for the brown sticks. There seems to be an insect on mushroom. That might of been an interesting subject to have been the main focal point. I liked the focus level from the ground, only wish the mushroom was in little more focused. Nice set up however. Oct 5th
60 Oct 18 Comment I really like this shot. The trough appears to be metal and adds an interesting aspect to the image. They are the clearest focus and draw my attention to them. I would not have taken the green leaves out as they add a little color and do not distract. The upper leaves are handled well in my opinion with a nice blur. The green moss (?) between the spouts again add some color and are not too large to pull the viewer's attention. I really like your image it is very soothing. Oct 5th
