I guess it is where your focus lays. The flowers were not the object of the shot. I wanted to show what the flowers came from. I have submitted some with the emphasis on the flowers, this is just a variation trying to get away from repeating the same thing over and over. Thanks for looking at it and giving me your interpretation. |

Thanks for having a look. The emphasis was the "buds". I had submitted images of the flowers before and wanted to place the emphasis on something new. Actually this is a new image only the tree is the same. The buds were barley visible and very dark. My adjustments were to lighten them and still not overexpose the blooms. Thanks for looking and offering some tips. Bill |

Nice shot too. Adding the dark back ground really brings the viewers attention to the plant. For me the way it "s" itself tends to bring my eye into the image. The colors are good and the image is nice and sharp. Good job. |

I like this fellow. Does he get his color from the surrounding area? Sharp in the eye which I like. It makes you think he is looking at you. The angle of the head and the slant of it really draws you to the image. Too bad he didn't have his tongue out, that would be really nice. Good shot as is anyway. |
