Wow, what a great presentation! There seems to be a feeling of seduction in this image. Lighting from the side really sets the flower off. The colors are beautiful! The curving petal seems to bring my vision right into the photo. I love the placement of the flower also. If I could offer a bit of suggestion it would be to cool down the light on the outside of the petal a tad. It seems to me to be right on the edge of being over exposed. That being said this is a great image that beings great warmth to the viewer at least this viewer!

Nice photograph. There are some blurred spots around the edge that are a little distracting to me. Looks like light creeping in. |

This is a very nice image. You really nailed the insect. The placement adds to the image, I think that we don't always have to have the subject "centered" in the image. I don't think the pedals in the back are a distraction. They are blurred enough. If I could offer some constructive pointers I would look at the edges of the flowers and the back of the insect that seem to have some signs of over exposure (what are we to do trying to get the shot be for the bug takes off). Nice shot with great placement of the subject. |

Now for my comments: I really like your image (flowers are my soft spot). Love the radiance you have created with the lighting. The colors are very pleasing and give a relaxing feeling. For me the pedals seem to lead the viewer to the emphasis of the presentation, the flower. Of course using the black background is one of my favorites! Overall I think you have a winner. |
