Apologies for not noticing it earlier, the corrected image is much better. Maybe blur the background more as it is quite busy? |

Thank you for your appreciation and critique...I actually kept the bottom half as I liked the hand position, very typical of his profession and signifying a sense of loyalty. Also, I thought I was losing some detail with a smaller crop and low res artifacts would appear. But, the smaller crop does look interesting too! |

Nice tonality and shadows here, i think removing the brick wall on the right and adding even more contrast would elevate it more.. |

Beautiful, as others have said the distracting highlights in the background would be better darkened or removed, especially the left edge and bottom part.. |

Its an excellent subject, I would like to try more separation from the background here and possibly a different angle.... the half visible angle and textured bottom part are somewhat distracting to my eye. |
