39 Oct 24 Reply Thank you, Paul. For some reason, I lean toward Sepia for old Western themes...I guess it gives me the feel of another era. Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Reply Thank you, Vincent. We only have them in the Western National Parks now. Definitely, Nostalgia for the past. Oct 14th

39 Oct 24 Reply Thanks, Jerry. Very close! Glad my husband was in front of me:) Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Comment It is a wonderful image. I can hear the bleating. Great tones and textures. Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Comment Strong composition with the lines leading to the center. I agree with how Paul took out the light building on the right. I might lighten the center more so that the leading lines stand out more. And I am not sure the person in the mask on the left adds to the story. Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Comment I, too, like the minimalism of the subject. It conveys the emotion of solitude - walking on a quiet beach alone. Could you crop down on the top so that the dark sand is not showing and the background is all one tone? I also appreciate where the subject is placed in the photo. I normally would place him more on the bottom walking in and up. Your vision works well. Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Comment I truly like the story this photo tells. I usually like a blurred background, but here it takes away from the busy harbor story. In color, the red of the boat competes with the subject. Choosing B&W was a good choice. I wanted to see what it looked like in B&W without the blurring. In my humble opinion, I think it tells the story well. Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Comment I like the composition of the lower 2/3 of the picture. The peace and serenity of the scene are disturbed by the dark canopy. If you cropped down a bit and removed the low hanging leaves, I think more attention would go to the Carillon. Can you bring the detail and contrast out more? You have captured a place I would like to wander. Oct 14th
39 Oct 24 Comment What everyone else said. I like how the detail of the tractor and the farmer stands out. It's interesting how many in the Group have rural backgrounds. I grew up in the city, but have lived in rural areas for 30 years. My camera and I are fascinated by the farmers at work. Oct 14th
