Thanks, Kathryn. You chose the right word. I think I prefer "artsy" when I think about it. I prefer a soft look for flowers too...so that must be my "style". |

Thanks, Paul. I go back and forth on which version I prefer. If you judged the original, what would your comments be? |

Kathryn, this is wonderful. So creative. The tones are spot on. The photo is excellent the way it is. I could stop right there, but it is also the type of photo that lends itself to several cropping versions. Did you try others? How would it look if you cropped down to just under her nose? The focus would then be on the pattern and movement of the body. Just a thought but it is more than fine the way it is. And yes, Paul is right, I can see it as the beginning of an old Bond movie. |

So beautifully composed...and to convert it to Black and White, while removing the distractions, make it a work of Art. I like the square crop with all focus on her and her tutu. I have no suggestions. |

Another walkabout that is wonderful. Excellent spotting of the 2 friends. Makes me think of the Simon and Garfunkel song, "Two friends, Old friends..." I like the tones. Two minor suggestions...I would soften the opacity of the barista's arm in the Background. The arm seems to be coming out of your subject's head. The guy on the left with the beard, his shirt has converted nicely, but his head looks over sharpened. Can you soften it a bit, especially the beard? All these street scenes would make a wonderful book. |

Nicely done. Orchids are always difficult for me to capture. Good tones and conversion to Black and White. |

It looks like you have a new Olympus...The conversion works so well. The tones of the aluminum siding shine. Contrast is great. Was this on a tripod? I know Olympus allows amazing handheld, but not sure about 5 seconds. |
