So wonderful to see a child feeling free and secure enough to express herself/himself with such abandon and happy colors. How old was he/she? |

A wonderful photo. Great shot and post processing. Your edit makes him appear approachable, but, sorry...I don't think encountering a bear is so whimsical. Exciting, it gets the heart pumping, snap a photo, then RUN! At least, back away.
Fortunate you were inside! |

This could be titled "When I Itches, I Scratches"
I agree with Carole about cropping down. I also tried a crop, focusing more on the itch. If that doesn't work for you, how about cropping so the deer is a bit off center? |

The photo is whimsical...but so is your imagination! I never would have thought of combining the 2. Good job!

Thanks, Gavin. This was taken with my 40-150mm lens. Since I shoot Olympus Mirrorless, it was shot at the full frame equivalent of 284mm. |

Thanks, Ally. It is really interesting to observe that although wild, they have their own personality. His other leg was not up in the air. Just stretched out.

Thanks, Carole. I remember thinking "What is he doing now!" I thought of calling it "Bliss", but each time I looked at it I thought of the old commercial. Guess I'm dating myself. |

I love this photo...to me it conveys the exhilaration of seeing the whales...and 3! I like the angle of the 3. Would you consider cropping up from the bottom a bit and extending the sky some? That way, the whales would be closer. I was just in Alaska and I had to smile at your original. Shooting off a rocking, moving boat, I hardly had straight horizons. I would focus and then just as I would push the shutter, the boat would lurch down. You did a great job! I do like the original too, because of the tones and it conveys the coldness of the area. This is one where I like both versions. |

Well done. I love the textures. My eye goes right to the white door and then inside. The photo makes me want to be there...meandering down a path and finding the church. |

I like the B & W, but this time I am going to go against the crowd and prefer the color. I like how the blue sky contrasts with the tones of the buildings. I would just lighten the vegetation in the middle (as you did in the B & W) and crop up a bit. |

A really well composed image. I love the shapes and DOF of those marching. As the last member to comment, I agree with what the others said. There are 2 areas I would remove, however. The 1/2 window on the right and the post behind the boy's helmet. It appears too much as coming out of his head. Looks like you had a great day to shoot. |

Such a beautiful image. I would agree with others to make it a square or at least crop above the bottom leaf. |

I like the simplicity of the photo. The textures of the building stand out.
I agree with Jerry about the white spots...was going to suggest it, then saw he already did. |

Thank you, Paul. The title seems to be important.
The Title is "Daddy, Take Me With You....Please."
I submitted it, but not the correct way.....Next month...
I think the title tells the story a bit more. |

Thank you, Larry. I agree with you about a lower position...that would have been wonderful.but I was up in the bleachers, waiting for the ceremony. The Guests sit in bleachers, members of the tribe are in chairs on the floor. It would have been totally inappropriate to go onto the Floor. |

Thanks, Dave. I find your idea as interesting as I dislike so many Pow Wow and crowd shots because I find the crowd in the Background distracting...personal preference. Also, another personal preference...I do not like sharp selections. To me, they look like they are just placed on top. This is a Black texture placed as another layer on top. The girl was brought out with a Layer Mask to look more natural in the Black. Just my opinion. I will consider yours and redo. |

An interesting rendition from the original. It looks like a painting of the Barrio. While the original has the same shadows and highlights, they really show well in the rendition.

I understand that you were trying to concentrate on the water droplets, but I wonder if having the front petal in greater focus would also bring out the droplets more. Such a beautiful soft pink. |

I think this is a beautiful rendition. I like how your frame contributes to the High Key feeling. I like how you brought out the texture of the petals. So soft and delicate looking.

Nice capture and how wonderful to be in a Sunflower field. Would you consider eliminating the fly so the focus is on the bee at the center? I agree with Al to try and make the yellow a bit more saturated and bright. But that is just personal preference. |

Nicely done...Dahlias are the gift that keeps giving. I have a Velvet 56 also. I would guess the F stop was around 5.6. Lower, the majority of the flower would not be so sharp. Nicely done. |

Thank you, Al. I don't see the noise, however. It is printed and I don't see the noise in it either. It could be the foggy vignette I put on it to try to make it "Dreamy". |

This is a beautiful crop to a great photo. Perfect curve, perfect drop. I love that you used your telephoto lens instead of a macro. It blurs the background so well, yet keeps your subject sharp...proof in the cropping. |
