22 Sep 22 Reply This is actually a well used gate on the main street. The gate leads into a courtyard of a residence. The only separation between the tree and the wall is the sidewalk. I think I was just fortunate that this particular tree was very large with long limbs that hung down lower than they should have. Sep 11th
22 Sep 22 Comment I have to agree that the two sharp clouds on the horizon in the upper left-hand corner are very distracting, but I would leave the other clouds in - - I think they add to the image. I would saturate this a little bit more overall to bring out the curvatures of the land that dominates this part of the world.Very nice subject matter and well portrayed. Sep 11th
22 Sep 22 Comment An interesting find. Just as a matter of aesthetics I think I would have eliminated the partial images in the upper right-hand corner and cropped it a bit more evenly. The sharp focus on the foreground as well as the background makes the butterflies a little less dominant in the image. But I like the concept and the colors. Sep 11th
22 Sep 22 Comment Very artfully done. I'm still trying to imagine how you got all these pieces to fit together and still did it without cross traffic upsetting the apple cart. Very interesting image. Sep 11th
22 Sep 22 Comment Super job on capturing this pattern. It reminded me of a Russian doll assembly with really perfect lines. This is one of those right place right time events. Great job on postprocessing to bring out the colors and lines. Sep 11th
22 Sep 22 Comment A beautiful result on this one. Using 20 images in your stack is very ambitious. But the clarity and focus throughout the image is pronounced and you created an exceptional photograph. I love the water droplets and the stratification of color. Wonderful job. Sep 11th
22 Sep 22 Comment Now this is just fun!I have been playing around with this concept for a while since you last gave me a description on how to do it several months ago. But I have been using it mostly on flower arrangements. This is a very smooth and color rich image that takes the earth tones and turns into a pleasing photograph. I love the color intensity. Nice job Sep 11th

65 Sep 22 Comment A very interesting capture on this one. I would like to have seen the original and known a little bit about your technique in processing at. The final product is very subtle and its softness makes for a very pleasing photograph. I think a little noise reduction on this one would help as well and turning up the saturation and sharpness would also clarify the flower a little bit more And create a better balance between the water droplets and the flower itself. A very beautiful image. Sep 14th
65 Sep 22 Comment What a beautiful presentation. The softness of the flower and its background really blends nicely. The addition of the frame sets it up as a great greeting card. One suggestion on this one might be to reduce the noise level of the overall frame and sharpen the lines of the petals a bit. Sep 14th
65 Sep 22 Comment I think you did an excellent job on composing this particular image and you have eliminated the extraneous portions from the original. Your background is nicely muted. I would suggest however that you increase the brightness of the image as well as the saturation to make that sunflower really pop. In addition some sharpening would make the insects really stand out more. Nice job. Sep 14th
65 Sep 22 Comment I think you did an excellent job with this image and isolating the portion that you did. I wish I knew the name of the flower but I can't help you there. The background contrast is excellent and your sharpening is spot on.I love the centered water droplet. Excellent job. Sep 14th
65 Sep 22 Comment A very nice image. I like the way you isolated the the flour and the background is nicely done. I would like you have seen the original to make a better comparison on your processing. I think the levels adjustment could have been a bit brighter and maybe a touch more saturation. Good shot. 65 Sep 22 Comment Great shot of the Dalia and I particularly like the way you isolated the flower. The muting of the background really helped make this image. Good saturation and composition. The overall image is a bit noisy, however, and eliminating some of that noise would have clarified the picture a great deal. Nice job. Sep 14th
