22 Jun 21 Comment Sorry that I'm a bit late on this. I really like this old grain elevator and your sky replacement made all the difference - - added the right color and eliminated the wires. I thought that perhaps the image might be enhanced by adding some more detail in the sky and brightening the overall exposure. Also adding some detail in the old barn board help to enhance the attractive nature of the old building. What do you think? Jun 21st
22 Jun 21 Comment The brightness of that drift is a little distracting to me as well. Perhaps cropping half of it out would make it less appealing to look at. In addition, a slight color enhancement of the vehicle might bring out that contrast a bit more and make the eye really focus on that subject. I do agree that the blue cast of the snow is a bit strong. Overall a very interesting image and well composed. Jun 2nd
22 Jun 21 Comment This surely is an old steering wheel and column. I really enjoy going through junkyards and finding new photographic treasures every time. You had the good fortune of having your own example on hand. I do like the composition with the pitted windshield as the background. I think the image would have been enhanced if you could have lightened up the dashboard to bring more of the rust color out. A little bit of sharpening might also have helped in better defining the lines of the steering wheel and column handles. Jun 2nd
22 Jun 21 Comment I really like the way you put this image in final form. We took this same boat ride in Lake Superior by this lighthouse several years ago but my image did not come on nearly as clear as yours did. I'm originally from Minneapolis and my wife and I took an RV trip to this region. Your addition of the lighting to enhance the image is great. I think your cropping and composition of the final product, and the detail of the old wood really brings out the age of this lighthouse. Great job. Jun 2nd
22 Jun 21 Comment I really like the way you put this together but it must've taken you a long time to do. I am bothered by the upper left-hand corner was the mysterious hanging roof, however. I don't know if you can eliminate this using content aware or not. I really like the coloration of the old schoolhouse. My only comment would be to perhaps lighten it just a bit and maybe advance the detail to bring out more of the grain in the old wood. The little girl walking by does add a lot of character to an old schoolhouse. Jun 2nd
