22 May 21 Comment I really enjoy looking at this image. The foreground is very sharp. It looks like an ideal Colorado mountain scene - - the ones that I love to find. I might have enhanced the saturation just a little to bring out the fall colors a bit more and saturate the sky just a hair. Using layers to just brighten the overall image might also help. Enhancing the background mountains is a plus. This is a great scene. Where is this canyon? May 13th
22 May 21 Comment This is an exceptional job. I absolutely love the way you turned this into a classic piece of art and the watercolor medium is perfect. The light texture of the sky and the line created by the waterway really draws one into this image. It is unfortunate that the white, modern boat has to be moored on the bank. I have a tendency to drift to that part of the image and having the single boat passing through would have improved the image greatly. The vignette is just a bit strong for me - - a little softer would be fine. This is a real wall hanger. May 13th
22 May 21 Comment A very nice job on finishing this one off. That background is extremely difficult to work with and blurring it must've been a real challenge. You've done well on this one. Yes, the images are very sharp and stand out clearly. There's a good story on this one. May 13th
22 May 21 Comment I love the purple and the background is perfect for this transferred image. You have the composition just right, and by centering it on the page you really focusing on the entire flower. If I would do anything with this I think it would be to enhance the detail of the flower just a little, and reduce the noise overall. It really is a super image for a note card. May 13th
22 May 21 Comment Yes, it is a little gritty, however, I like the way that you added the contrast and brought out the detail of the bark and the vines. It made the object much easier to view and more interesting. May 13th
22 May 21 Reply I would like the template. Thanx May 7th
22 May 21 Reply Thanx. Yes it does tilt but I thought the slant and straight shot at the door made it a little inviting. May 6th
22 May 21 Comment What a great shot! You got this crane perfectly. . This is a real wall hanger. If I had any suggestions at all it would be to simply crop a small amount off the left and top to move the bird up a little more off-center. I might also try to sharpen the head a little bit to make that a bit more crisp. However I think this is beautiful. On another subject: I have been by that wildlife area several times but never stopped. (I live in Colorado and we go to Arizona via I 25 every year.) I've also been tempted to just take a trip down there for a weekend but I'm not sure exactly when the best time to be there is. Maybe you could offer me some advice on timing and the best gear to use. I used to go to Monte Vista, Colorado annually for the Crane migration. I imagine they stop by at Bosque as well. Anyway, any advice that you could pass on to me would be appreciated. Email: akswan1969@comcast.net. May 3rd
