22 Apr 21 Comment I wonder, was this a view of a reflection on Lake San Cristobal. We love Lake City area and have camped there many times. The color of your image is very interesting and you have saturated it nicely. I might suggest trying to crop out a portion of the bottom of the image and make the green and yellow colors appear closer. I don't think the bottom 20% as much to the overall image. Also, the blur in the center, which may be a fish rising to the surface, brings my eye there. Elimination of this would help. Apr 10th
22 Apr 21 Comment We have eaten in this restaurant several times on our way from Colorado to Arizona. Aside from the photograph, the food is great. I think I might have cropped this quite a bit to eliminate the patio seating on the left and much of the bottom portion of the image and focused on the doorway and front of the building. The hanging chilies with the toned down light might have made a very interesting image. In addition, the view through the doorway to the gift shop would have added a colorful feature. Apr 10th
22 Apr 21 Comment I think the black and white conversion was a plus here. I wonder what the image would look like if you had moved to the left just a bit to cut off the blue sky in the upper left-hand corner which is a bit distracting. Still, converting to a black-and-white did mute this distraction quite a bit. Apr 10th
22 Apr 21 Comment I really enjoyed this one. I like the way you offset the center part of the flower and the color of the background petals is really attractive. I think I might have tried to tone down the center portion of the flower just a bit and enhance the detail to make it not quite so bright. This is really an attractive image. Nice job. Apr 10th
22 Apr 21 Comment I can't add much to the other comments. This is a beautiful rendition and the background is absolutely perfect. I wish that the entire flower would've been included in the image. The detail on the stamen really catches my eye. Nice job Apr 10th
