I love the Texas Hill country and you must be inundated with flowers this time a year. I like the way this image portrays the fog and brings out the depth of the different layers as you work your way back into the image. My only suggestions on this one would be to crop the image on the bottom significantly to eliminate the portion that has no depth or pattern at all. Then perhaps just adjust the contrast a little more and brighten the overall image. |

Extremely colorful and bright. Certainly draws your attention and adds a very bright dimension not in the original image. The smooth circular lines of the final product keep your attention inside the borders. Very impactful. |

This is a keeper. I cannot imagine how long it took to clone out all of the background and the extraneous parts of the original image that you did not want. The result is fantastic. Looking at it is almost magical in that one would never expect to see such simplicity as a stand alone image anywhere in real life. The footsteps in the snow and the zigzag fence line really direct your eye to the tree. I could stare this image for a long time and still not get bored with it. How you were able to remove all of that background is amazing to me. Nice work. Tons of patients. How long did it take you to complete? |

Tremendously imaginative. I also was not aware of this technique but I'm going to copy your instructions and play with it a while. The surreal nature of the final product is just wonderful to view. It forces one to really concentrate on the content of the image and try and figure out its original shape and detail. A true attention getter for sure. |

What a great image. I wish that I had more experience working with layers. You obviously do and have done a wonderful job with this image. I love the vivid colors and the abstract look. The high detail makes it look like a litho print. I think the way you have offset the center flower is done well. If I had any suggestion at all it might be to slightly crop off a bit of the right side, but that's so minor. I also like the way you have included most of the other buds on the cactus - - it makes it look more complete. Wonderful job. |
