I really like the openness of this image. Prairie scenes are always filled with stories and yours is no exception. However, I thought that the image might be enhanced with a little more exposure and highlighting of details to bring out the water well and clouds. I thought this added a little bit more depth as well and by cropping it down on all sides I was hoping to focus more on the distance and depth of field. One can almost see the Comanches making their way south. Hope you don't mind my alterations. |

The texture in your image as a great deal of softness and the vignette brings your eyes into the image. I took your original and brought it back into Topaz and played around with sharpness and different looks, finally winding up with peeled paint. I felt that sharpening the image and bringing out some of the details of the ATV help to tell the story of beachcombing. Don't know what you think? |

An interesting title and image. I think you've captured the moment but I agree that I would crop this much closer in on the players since that is actually the focus and subject of the image. Good exposure. |

I love the hill country in season. Many spectacular views and some still hidden in the countryside untouched by development. I really like this shot and my only suggestion would be that you get much lower with your camera and shoot an image that includes close-ups of the bluebonnets for emphasis with the house as the background. I see that you tried that and were not happy with the results. Perhaps moving the camera left or right in a lowered position would help. Wonderful composition. |
