This is a great image for a black-and-white and I think you composed it very well. I think it could use just a bit more brightening using levels in Photoshop. And I do agree that cropping on the right side just a bit would help focus on the falls. I don't believe that massive cliff on the right adds all that much to your subject. Great exposure on the water! |

I have been to Mexican Hat but I have never been able to see the horses. This is excellent. It is too bad that the paint was not closer to the rest of the group. You cropped this with great precision and the horses are very crisp. Good saturation and composition. This is an image that is begging for a frame and a wall. |

This is a pretty poster image with bright contrasting yellow colors against the water. However, I think the leaves have lost a lot of their character and have become very bright against the water. I agree that they seem to be a scattered array rather than a focused subject. But it's an interesting presentation. |

I just bought Topaz Studio 2 myself a couple months ago and have been engrossed in playing with the filters. I think that in general if one controls the extremes of the filters presented you can really enhance images by providing those optional backgrounds and grunges that make a photo spring to life. I used it in my entry this month and think that it takes the simple photographic image into a new dimension. Sometimes it looks too distorted, but that's in the eye of the beholder. In this case you have certainly altered the image from its original form. I think however that the distortion on the trees is just a little too much. The contrasts of the colors are just a bit harsh. But Keep on Working with Studio 2 because it's an enormously fun experience. |

What a great shot of this horse. An excellent job of removing the foreground fence - - I wish I knew how to do this as well as you have done here. He obviously knows what he's doing so let him do it. Nice capture. |
