22 Apr 19 Comment This is a great image. I've spent some time traveling through this part of the world and your image captures both the barrenness of the mountains with the productivity of the wheat fields. The train really adds a lot to the composition and provides life to this image. My eyes want to wander throughout the image and follow the path of the train. Great composition. I might have added just a tad bit more saturation. But that's just me. Apr 8th
22 Apr 19 Comment Nice job on the composition of this image. The backlighting is very effective in bringing the curvature of the seagull out against the gray background. I might have tried to saturate the bird just a little bit too highlighted above the color of the rocks around it. Apr 8th
22 Apr 19 Comment What an absolutely need shot. An excellent job in isolating the subject and a very clear and sharp image. The expression on the boy's face really says it all for intensity. Like father like son. Conversion to black and white was a very good decision. Great work on this image. I wouldn't do anything differently than you did. This is priceless. Apr 8th
22 Apr 19 Comment As I am writing this, we are parked in our RV just west of San Antonio and we saw some of these beautiful flowers on the way in yesterday. We will be here a week and plan on covering the hill country. I'm not sure if your comment on being technically correct is really true or not. I really like the capture of all of the flowers but I think I would have done some cropping on top and eliminated the tree hang in the upper left-hand corner. That would focus on the depth of the flowers and color you so well present here. Great shot and I hope I am as lucky to find these fields as you were. The saturation and composition is really great. Nice shot. Apr 8th
22 Apr 19 Comment A good image to broadcast on Halloween. Spooky. Ditto on the comments above. The shadows are very effective but I might have cropped the bottom of the picture off just a bit where they fade off into nothing. Too bad the street had to be so close to the top of the image. Because it is lighter, it tends to draw my attention. Apr 8th
