2 Feb 18 Comment This is a beautiful image with great color and very sharp focus. However, I am a little confused about the subject. Is it the dancers on the right? Or the entire festival? I think you actually have two images here and I would crop the image left of the dancers out and focus on the colorful and well poised dancers. My eye goes to these dancers first but because of the group on the left, it wanders that way when I know I should be focusing on the right side of the image. Feb 11th
2 Feb 18 Comment This is almost a perfect image for me. Even with the Driftwood subject centered in the image, your balance is perfect with the waves splashing in on the right side and drifting off towards the left corner. Exposure is wonderful with the frothy wave appearance and the sunset light on the Driftwood. If anything, a slight crop on the right side would be okay but I certainly don't think it's necessary the way you have this one balanced. I love this image. Feb 11th
2 Feb 18 Comment What a beautiful capture of this geisha. It tells a great story as she seems dedicated to her task. I was a bit drawn away from it however, because of the bright spot over her right shoulder. I would also have cropped the image to eliminate the clutter on the left side of the image. My other only suggestion would be to highlight the geisha and brightened her a bit as well as add a little saturation to her kimono Feb 11th
2 Feb 18 Comment I love the way you finish this eagle right down to the catch light in the eye and the muted background that complements the head feature so well. I can't think of a single thing to change on this. A beautiful job. Feb 11th
2 Feb 18 Comment The background and reconstruction of this image is extremely well done. Great capture on the eyes and expression. For me, however, the impact of the high detail and coloration of the face makes him almost bizarre. It's a very imaginative approach to this portrait, however. Feb 11th
