Hi Ham: I never thought that you were naming the image for your wife, but I love the references of resilience and strength you made of your relationship. Very sweet. Having a person in the frame for scale was a good decision. I agree with Howard that the green in the front is too saturated and the blue in the right upper hand corner is distracting. Otherwise, a nice image.
Just a note: I have been gone the whole month of September and barely got to my reviews. I attended the PSA Festival in Colorado Springs and loved it. There were many hands-on and learning opportunities. I highly recommend going. |

Hi Helen: I really like the Oil Paint effect, but I find the realistic and the painted at odds. I find the decaying leaves above the iris on the left especially distracting. I would like to see all the background leaves eliminated with only a black area behind the beautiful irises. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you for bringing this filter to us.

Hi Howard: Once again, you have given us an excellent image with sharp detail. I would also crop some off the right edge and perhaps some off the top. I think this image would be fine flying right through the middle.

Hi Bob: I played with your image a bit. I went into Photoshop and chose "Filter" "Lens Correction" and "Horizontal" to make the large pillars on the right match the pillars on the left.
Then I chose the pespective crop and straightened the side pillars to straighten them.
I also cropped just a little on the bottom.
What do you think?

Hi Peter: I love shots of old barns and silos especially when they stand out in a significant manner. I find myself at a loss for any additional comments. I like Howard's final result a lot.

Hi Howard:
Thank you so much for your suggestions. I worked on this image a long time trying to figure out how to fix it. This looks much better. I really wanted the heads to show up, and they just were hidden in the picture. I also love the transparency of the bottom feathers. Thank you again. |
