37 Aug 22 Reply Ham, I never thought about black and white, but then my tractor image was the first one I ever did. Your image looks like a completely different picture. It really focuses on the subject. It's a little too white for me on the cab and surrounding vignette. Thank you for presenting a whole new idea for my image. I may try some of this myself. Aug 18th
37 Aug 22 Reply Hi Howard: I agree that it is busy, but I love all the things that say fishing pier. You should see what I already cropped out. I don't like the crop on the right side, because if I frame it, part of the boat will be lost. However, I don't like the blue barrel. I tried to crop it too but didn't. I think I just need to get rid of the barrel. It is interesting that you brightened the hull of the boat. Originally, it was so bright that it was distracting. I dulled it down a lot, perhaps too much. I do like the added texture. Thank you for your comments and time working on the image.

37 Aug 22 Comment Hi Ham: Breath-taking image. The HDR effect captured everything perfectly. All I can say is that I want to go there. My eye went straight to the falls, then to the sharply captured mountains, then the sky. The greenery in front was my last delight with the easily seen trees. Just Beautiful. Aug 13th
37 Aug 22 Comment Hi Howard: This charming character, although scruffy with daunting blue crossed eyes, is definitely happy. Wonderful capture. Having that streak of wet sand at that location gave a perfect line for the rule of thirds. I love seeing happy dogs enjoying life. Thank you for sharing this image. Aug 13th
37 Aug 22 Comment Hi Bob: My eye goes straight to the pelican's eye and beak, and I marvel at the sharpness of everything in the bird. His color is beautiful. You caught the reflection perfectly. The reeds in the background are muted just right. I agree with Helen that a little more space at the bottom would be better, especially if this image were to be framed. Good Work. Aug 13th
37 Aug 22 Comment Hello Peter: It's always fun to capture some kind of creature on a flower, however when I look at this image, it is not sharp. I ran it through Topaz Labs on the motion blur option. You must have caught some wind at the last moment. I have attached the Topaz results. I think this made a very acceptable image. You have to enlarge the image to correctly see the results. Aug 13th
37 Aug 22 Comment Hi Peter: Your post processing of this image was beautifully done. It looks so easily acquired but required a lot of preliminary work on your part. Great image. My critic is that when I first looked at your image, I kept thinking that the buildings looked cropped off at the bottom. However, if you crop in about 1-1 1/4 inches at the top, I don't feel that anymore. I also recommend cropping about 1 1/2 inch off the right edge. It just doesn't need to be there. After the crops, FABULOUS. Aug 13th
