Great images. I photographed the 2017 eclipse and know how difficult it is to capture. I really didn't know what I was doing at the time, but enjoyed the experience and the pictures came out okay. You captured a large portion of the corona and your diamond is amazing. If you have another chance at it, your images will be even better. |

Welcome to the group. I've learned a lot since I joined and I'm sure you will also. My dog is black and I know how difficult it is to get detail in any picture. I like Tim's suggestions for cropping and getting some of Teddy's details. I think the highlights of the grass could be muted even more. You might even try cropping more to take out the background greenery, leaving only the grass and Teddy. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pictures. |

How did you get Tosh to pose for you? The result is beautiful. I admire your following through on your purpose with the appropriate gear and you skill in post processing. My only suggestion would be to tone down the yellows in the final image--not much though. It helped to show us the original. In the original Tosh's right side doesn't have as much sun on it as in your final. It's a great image. |

This is an amazing shot, and captured while waiting for at the airport! I agree with Tim's crop and his suggestion to give the planes more room on the left. But knowing this was semi-planned, makes a difference. |

Thanks Dean! Funny, I didn't notice the reflection when I took the picture. I was concentrating on the shadows, the overhang and the shape and depth of the building. When I processed it, I saw the window. Surprise! |
