Thank you so much Blair! I didn't know I got the tail feathers spanned out until I got it into Lightroom! |

Thanks Rita! The Lightroom background blur filter isn't working yet and I don't know how to do it in Photoshop. So, I guess I wait or learn PS. But, I can see how blurring the background would help the hawk stand out. Thanks! |

Thank you Dean! This was more luck than anything else. We saw the hawk and I just started shooting hoping I'd get something, and I did. Thanks again. |

Michelle, thank you for your comment. I think the hawk is curious about us. If either my friend or I made a move other than pointing our cameras, I think he'd fly. This is an auto route and we are not supposed to leave our cars. I think the birds know that. Regarding the leaf. I don't mind it. It's part of the environmental portrait. And, the real reason is that I'm not that good at taking things out of a picture! Thanks again, Anne |

Damon, I wouldn't take him out. He's part of the story. It looks like he just walked out since the door is still slightly open. I like Michelle's idea of just changing the color of his shirt to a darker color. At first, I thought the chair was outside but it's inside. You could take that out. But then it's also part of the story, waiting for someone to sit and admire the view. |

Rita, great abstract. I love the soft colors and texture in the image. Even without the title, I would have thought "ocean." Good job on ICM. I'm just experimenting with it and I know it's not easy. You should do well in competition. |

Damon, this is great. I love the lighting, the reflections on the floor and the couple walking hand in hand. I know all about photographing in auto museums. Once there was a photographer who was in our photo group who was a docent at our local auto museum. He got permission to remove the ropes while we shot each car. At other times, I've just resigned myself to take apart the cars with my camera! The cars on the sides just help complete the story. The couple is the main element in the picture. |

Welcome to DD60 Michelle. I love this bubble. You took the opportunity and didn't hesitate to capture it. I also like that the big bubble isn't the only part of your story. The people are blowing more bubbles, the sun is setting. I also like that the people are in shadow. Beautiful capture. |

Barbara, this is just beautiful. You were very creative with the flashlight. I haven't done much light painting. That's going to have to go on my to practice list. I like how the light shines and then fades off in the right places. As I said: beautiful! |

Dean, I like this image for its dark mood. You took the opportunity of using the passing car for a light source. The fog also added to the mood of the image. |

Thanks Barbara! I think he was wondering what the heck we were doing. I once had an eagle look at me the same way. I'm not a true wildlife photographer, but I do get lucky sometimes. |

Thank you Damon! This shot was basically good luck. The hawk was on my side of the car and the shot was clear enough to sharpen in Topaz. The rest was cropping in. I'll try to lighten the eyes. I thought of that, but thought it was good enough. Your suggestion is enough to motivate me. Thanks again! |
