Thanks Barbara! This has been a learning experience from trying a different crop to shooting from a different position. But I really wanted to know if the blur was that big of a problem as I thought it was. The consensus is YES! I also learned not to be lazy and try a different position without stepping on to the property. Thanks for helping me learn, I appreciate it. |

Thanks Damon
I think it would be wonderful if we could get insects/animals to pose for us! We weren't allowed off the path so it was difficult to get the bee straight on. Also, I'm allergic to bees. Not epipen allergic, just very swollen allergic. This was the first black bee I've been able to photograph and I had fun. I'm learning to pay more attention to surroundings in addition to the subject. I could have waited and hoped it would move out from under the leaf. I also need more patience!
Thanks

Thanks Dean! I like constructive criticism. That's how I learn. I'm not sure when I'll come across another bee like that though. |

Thank you Rita. I think the cropped version is small because of the file size I gave it! As long as the image is sharp. I think the blur would be too big to take out, especially since I don't do much in Photoshop. |
