I love this image. It's sharp. You've gotten the swan in a great pose. The water drops are great and the beak is a great color. I see two hot spots where the white is blown out: on the head and neck. The neck is not as bad a fix in Lightroom can help. The head close to the black part of the beak can possibly be helped by toning down the white. I'm not sure if there is enough definition for a good fix. No matter what, they don't bother me since the image has such great qualities. You asked about the crop, I think it's good the way it is. Stunning image! |

Thanks Rita! The plastic does look kind of spacey. |

What an opportunity you found Rita. When I first saw this image I laughed and wondered how you got them to stand there in lines and pose! I would suggest that you crop out some of the sky. I think it draws attention away from the birds.
Congratulations on winning first place with your ladybug image! |

Awesome image! I love that you can hardly tell where the posts end and the reflections begin. Depth of field is great. And lastly, I like the texture. |

Dean it looks like you probably froze when you opened your front door! I like the original image better because it shows more context. I can see that the blade of grass was one of several. You were right to take out the purple tinge. Great shot. |

Thanks Damon! In my mind the plastic was the subject. Here's another image that may show that the plastic was the subject. Let me know what you think. |
