Hi Charlie! Interesting photo! The ambient light towards the back of the photo is distracting to me. Also, there is a lot of blank space at the top between the two side pieces. I would have brought those closer together to create a deeper reflection in the glass and used a longer exposure for a completely black background to highlight the ice pieces. Just my two cents. |

Hi Pierre! I hope your little subject stays in Quebec! Would hate to have a meeting with him without a camera and lens!! You have done a nice job of stacking the pictures in camera which I have never tried. I also like the color contrast of the black beetle and the white base he is positioned on. One thing I would remove are the two little sticks to the right of the picture. You captured the beetle well! |

Hi Ruth and welcome! This photo is lovely with the partial ice crystals in focus. Macro lenses justify a certain area allowing for a focal point and then the DOF blends in which has happened in your photo. I might suggest cropping it on the right side just a bit more so it would be centered with the left side and a tad off the top. Your first picture is lovely! |

Hi Murphy! Such an interesting abstract with vibrant colors. The combination of colors and the artistic design leads the eye in so many directions. I think you captured the essence of abstract nicely and all of the picture appears to be sharp. I like your imagination and the description of how you put it all together. Well executed!! |

Alane...A very nice and interesting photo! I always have fun using filters on photos to see the results. How do you know unless you try something new. The overall subtle colors and cropping of the picture is nice and effective. A soft vignette on the picture would be an even different effect. Nice job! |

Hi Norman! I like your idea of taking a picture of the watch and strap. I might add, I hope this was taken in the PM and not the AM!! First, the picture has been taken in the rule of thirds which adds a nice element to the photo. It's sharp from end to end and the DOF is very nicely done. The subtle background enhances the quality and sharpness of the photo. Very quality photo! |
