Hi Norman! So glad you have joined our group and will share your photos with us. I like the setting of the glass which is the focal point and the smoke swirling around it. The lighting is very nicely done where all subjects in the photo can be seen. Very nice photo! |

Alane...I recognize those spools of thread! I have used those on my embroidery machine. I like the choice of three spools but I would have placed the red spool on top to give it a definite focal point and offset the yellow. The background is very effective with the gradient of green. It's just enough to make the spools stand out. Nice job! |

Hi Murphy! This photo looks like a painterly HDR. I like the blue locks but might soften the color just a tad. Very clever way to contrast the old wood with added color to the chain and locks. Very creative! |

Hi Pierre! We have an ornithologist in our family so she would be critiquing this little bird for sure! Looks as though he posed for you. My suggestion would be to crop the bird tighter and focus more on his face to remove some of the ground cover that blends in with him. The background snow adds a touch of season to his habitat. Nice photo! |

This is a very interesting composition and choice of colors. The background has a gradient appearance which contrasts nicely with the colors of the candies. I like that you have them together and not separated. That draws the eye more to the overall picture and contrasting colors. Nice photo! |

Hi Alane! As always, it's so interesting the feedback on a photo. The smallest change can make a photo "pop" so much better. |

Hi Murphy! I spend a lot of time on the internet looking at photos others have taken and also webinars I have taken to get ideas and chose this angle and variety of petals to focus on. In the summer the plant is greener but in the winter the petals turn more of a lavender color. |

Thank you Charlie! It's always interesting how others can see and add a touch of something to enhance a picture. |
