Charles...This is a great image to work with and all the detail.
I like the fact the picture is positioned on the reflective black glass. I might suggest taking the picture from a higher angle and not having the different background. All of the image would be on the reflective glass. The image is very sharp bringing out details of the coccon. Very nice photo! |

Hi Terry and welcome to our group!
The color combination in your picture is quite nice! The pod texture blends right in with the rocks and all the colors. Sometimes back light, a camera flash, can bring out more detail on a bright sunny day. The pod is sharp and the rocks blend in with it. Very nice job!! |

Hi Alane! This is a lovely image of black and white with the added water droplets. There is some distraction around the outer edge of the picture so what I suggest is to add a vignette to "choke" out the unwanted distractions. I have used this many times on my own pictures and I added this to yours for a suggestion only. Great job and especially early morning! |

Neal...Interesting little critter! The hidden details on such a tiny little critter can be captured with macro magnification and a surprise to later see in a photo. I would suggest increasing saturation and cropping in much tighter to bring out detail. Photo stacking is tedious and you created a lovely image of such a tiny mite on site!! |
