This was my suggestion of painting out the extension on the left side of the stem. I used the paint brush to paint it down to the roundness of the end of the stem. |

Priscilla...This is a serene capture and contrast with the dark background and white daisies. A true Texas summer flower!! The addition of pine needles and pine cones add to the arrangement. The eye follows from right to left and up as the leading line. One suggestion I would make is to remove that extension on the left stem by matching color and painting it down to the round end of the stem. Very easy to do in Photoshop. I would also burn the white base a bit as it competes with the vase. Very nice composition. |

Alane...Thank you!
I agree that the feathers and their vivid color are captivating. I spent several hours hanging around the flamingos waiting for some good shots and watching how they interact with each other. |

Thank you Priscilla. The position of the neck and the beautiful vivid feathers inspired me to shoot quick before it changed position. |

Murphy...What an interesting photo of mushrooms. The dark green background and the 'golden' mushrooms contrast makes this picture an eye catcher. The reflector has given the mushrooms that added golden touch and I personally like the slight softness of the mushrooms. It gives them a mysterious look. I would suggest cropping out the "empty space" on the left side of the picture. Nice composition and capture. |

Charles...you have done a splendid job of changing the depth of field! The original is too busy and distracting from the rose. Your post processing has certainly added depth to the rose. The added raindrops are not only pretty but sharp and add to its beauty. I would suggest removing the black mark on the petal with the spot healing brush tool. Very nicely captured and post processed image. |

Alane...I like this photo as you have introduced color variation with cobblestones and used the rule of thirds to capture this image. The composition is lovely...so much variety. The colors are vivid, it's sharp and overall, a great photo. |

Neal...This is a very nice composition of a toad in his natural habitat. The light exposure is good and the image is sharp. The catch light in the eye looking at you is certainly a plus! Very nice image! |

Thank you Murphy! It was a cloudy day so never had to deal with sun glare issues. A trip to the San Antonio Zoo is worth the travel time as it is ranked #2 in the nation. |

Thank you Charles. Those little guys don't stay still long so I was happy to observe the neck position and snap a quick one. I agree with you regarding the feather detail. It's such a beautiful part of who they are! |
